Comal's April 2019 Impact Dinner marks a special, bittersweet occasion: the departure of our beloved Executive Chef Tim Bender! Join us as we toast to all that Tim has accomplished at Comal, leading the charge in the kitchen since day one. To honor him, each course will be prepared by a different Comal participant, paying homage to the techniques they've learned under his guidance while spanning multiple cultures and styles of cuisine. Wine and cocktail pairings will be curated by Friends & Family's Kevin Galaba, Tim's favorite beverage expert.

Four elevated Chef’s Counter tickets are available for $125 per person all-inclusive, for VIP guests to join Chef Tim sitting up-close-and-personal to all of the action in the kitchen. In addition to the main menu, Chef's Counter guests will enjoy internationally inspired delicacies such as Aguachile, Doro Wot, Chicaharron de Puerco, and more, plus premium drink pairings.
Focus Points Family Resource Center (the nonprofit behind Comal) and Friends and Family (a nonprofit organization comprised of, and designed to serve, Colorado's hospitality industry employees) have partnered to host this special event, sponsored by Suerte Tequila. Proceeds will benefit Comal's garden, one of Chef Tim's signature projects.
