A+ College Ready E3 Summer Training at Gardendale High School (formerly known as LTF)

 A+ College Ready E3 Summer Training (which includes the code.org computer science discoveries and computer science principles course) provides educators with content-based, pedagogy-driven, teacher-to-teacher training, designed to Equip teachers with the methods, tools, and resources needed to Empower students to be engaged and motivated learners so that we may Expect More for education in Alabama! The curricula and strategies covered in this four-day training have been designed to increase rigor in the classroom for all children. Teachers who attend this training event will receive:

• Specialized training designed by expert educators for teachers of any level.

• Full access to rigorous classroom-ready lessons.

• Vertical alignment across grade levels.

• Ongoing support from expert educators.

Please note that although registration is free, Partner Schools and Non A+ College Ready affiliated schools will be invoiced $750 per participant, with the exception of computer science participants. Partner Schools and Non A+ College Ready affiliated schools will need to send a purchase order to Jenifer Glover, Director of Finance, jenifer@aplusala.org, prior to the start of training. 

COMPUTER SCIENCE COURSES for this event will begin Monday, June 18, 2018 at 8:30 am.

Registered participants who are no longer able to attend should cancel their registration to avoid being subject to a $200.00 no-show fee.
