Free Educational College Planning Workshop
Presented at the Shelton Community Center, 41 Church Street, Shelton, CT 06484, in Craft Room #1.
There will be a valuable College Financial Planning Workshop that will focus on high school, Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen. We will cover the FAFSA form and all the other information you need to understand in order to maximize the amount of financial aid you are eligible for. If a family is not eligible for aid, we will cover the best strategies on how to pay for college.
In the workshop, you will learn:
How to increase your tax deductions in addition to the Hope Scholarship and the Lifetime Learning Credit.
How parent and student financial earnings will count against them when applying for financial aid.
How to get ahead by developing a financial plan for all the college costs you will incur.
Learn what assets are taken into consideration when the U.S. Dept. of Education calculates your Family Contribution!
Online Reservations are necessary. Important: Parents(s), if your child is heading to college in the near future, you don't want to miss this workshop. High School Juniors should start now!
