“A Night on Broadway” is the theme of this year’s Chicago Master Singers Benefit Gala on Saturday evening, May 5, at the Grove Country Club in Long Grove. Northwestern University vocal coach and pianist Jason Carlson will accompany two up-and-coming young singers with performances of Broadway favorites.
Soprano Grace Wipfli, a graduate student in vocal performance at Northwestern, has performed to critical acclaim in both opera and musical theatre. Jesus Alfredo Jimenez, a Northwestern vocal performance graduate, has been hailed as a “virtuosic tenor” by Vocal Arts Chicago for his classical and musical theatre performances in the Chicago area.
