Clinical Decision Making: Skill Selection and Program Changes

Please join us in welcoming Erica Jowett Hirst, Ph.D. BCBA-D to the Dallas Campus of The Chicago School of Professoinal Psychology as she delivers her presentation entitled, "Clinical Decision Making: Skill Selection and Program Changes."  The goal of this presentation is to improve clinical judgment of practitioners who supervise ABA programs (i.e., BCBAs) and other professionals who work with individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., special education teachers and paraprofessionals). This presentation focuses specifically on making decisions related to skill-acquisition programs. Topics to be covered are a) considerations for selecting appropriate skills to target, b) when to make changes to a client’s program, c) and what changes to make.
