The Environmental Health Working Group of the Berkeley Climate Action Coalition presents, "Climate Change and Human Health!" This free, public event includes a comprehensive presentation on the broad human health effects of climate change, followed by an interactive, audience-led question and answer session with a panel of health professionals and scientists, including Dr. Lee Ballance.

Event Objectives:

1. Learn from health professionals and scientists about why it's important to recognize the impacts of climate change on individual and community health.

2. Understand how changes in environmental conditions, including fluctuations in temperature, increase in pollution, deterioration of food and water systems, and shifting distribution of vectors, affect multiple dimensions of human health.

3. Discover lifestyle changes to reduce your environmental footprint to improve public health.
