"Classical Ewe" at Dancing Ewe Farm
Dancing Ewe Farm is pleased to announce the event of the year, taking place on June 29, 2019, called "Classical Ewe."
This unique evening is a special collaboration of authentically produced Tuscan food and wine from Dancing Ewe Farm, combined with masterfully performed classical music featuring a cafe orchestra from The Glens Falls Symphony with special guest Charles Calotta, an award-winning Tenor from NYC.
Tickets for this black-tie event are limited and must be purchased in advance.
Come and enjoy the warmth of an early summer evening. The evening will commence by welcoming our guests with flutes of Prosecco for an Aperitivo, accompanied by a quartet of student musicians from Skidmore College, starting promptly at 5:00pm.
Dancing Ewe Farm will prepare their signature Tuscan farm to table dinner, featuring their artisanal cheeses and salumi, paired with regional Italian wines, and served overlooking their sheep grazing in lush green pastures.
After dinner, their guests will be invited into the main barn to enjoy a classical music performance by a cafe orchestra from The Glens Falls Symphony in a theater style setting. Opera selections coordinated by Maestro Charles Peltz, the director of Wind Ensembles at The New England Conservatory of Music, and showcasing the talented Charles Calotta, an award-winning tenor from New York City.
The evening will conclude with a dessert reception with the Orchestra members, featuring a handcrafted dessert from Dancing Ewe Farm, with flutes of Moscato D'Asti.
