The Classical Academy’s THIRD ANNUAL SONGWRITERSNIGHT brings Nashville’s top songwriters back to the Franklin Theatre for an in-the-round performance you won’t find anywhere else: Featuring The Warren Brothers, Luke Laird, Barry Dean and Jason Sellers.

Headlining this year’s show, The Warren Brothers play arena tours with superstars like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Martina McBride and Brooks & Dunn, have their songs recorded by some of the biggest acts in the business. In early 2009, the Warren Brothers received their first #1 with Dierks Bentley’s hit “Feel That Fire,” which he and the Warrens wrote with Brett Beavers. The Warrens along with Brett Beavers and his brother Jim Beavers, co-wrote both Tim McGraw’s 2010 #1 “Felt Good On My Lips” and Toby Keith’s 2011 single “Red Solo Cup”. In 2013, they received their fourth #1 with Tim McGraw’s “Highway Don’t Care” featuring Taylor Swift and Keith Urban. They have also had rock hits such as Hinder’s “All American Nightmare” and “Save Me”, Joss Stone’s single “Karma”, and Nickelback’s “Trying Not To Love You”.

Luke Laird was recently nominated for the 2015 ACM Songwriter of the Year. He also is the 2012 BMI Songwriter of the Year, Grammy winner, and writer of 16 Billboard #1 singles including Carrie Underwood’s “So Small,” “Last Name,” “Temporary Home” and “Undo It, ” Blake Shelton’s “Hillbilly Bone” feat. Trace Adkins, Sara Evans’s “A Little Bit Stronger,” Rodney Atkins’s “Take a Back Road,” Eric Church’s “Drink in my Hand” and “Give Me Back My Hometown,” Chris Young’s “You,” Little Big Town’s “Pontoon,” Tim McGraw’s “One of Those Nights,” Hunter Hayes’s “Somebody’s Heartbreak,” Lady Antebellum’s “Downtown,” Brad Paisley’s “Beat This Summer,” and Kenny Chesney’s “American Kids.” Laird also penned Miranda Lambert’s “Baggage Claim” (#3 Billboard charting single), Carrie Underwood’s “Mama’s Song” (#2 Billboard charting single), Darius Rucker’s “Radio” (#4 Billboard charting single), Jason Aldean’s “1994,” Toby Keith’s “Drinks After Work,” Lee Brice’s “Parking Lot Party,” and Ronnie Dunn’s “I Wish I Still Smoked Cigarettes.”

Barry Dean landed his first Billboard #1 song in 2012 with Little Big Town’s summer smash “Pontoon.” He landed the Jason Aldean top 15 hit "1994,” co-wrote Toby Keith’s single “Drinks After Work,” and co-wrote Ronnie Dunn’s “I Wish I Still Smoked Cigarettes.” Dean also co-wrote Ingrid Michaelson's current single "Girls Chase Boys." His songs have been recorded by Carrie Underwood, Alison Krauss, Jake Owen, Jason Aldean, Julianne Hough, Sheryl Crow, Little Big Town, Billy Currington, Hunter Hayes, Thomas Rhett, Brett Eldredge, LeAnn Rimes, Toby Keith, Kellie Pickler, Charlotte Church, Laura Bell Bundy, Ricky Skaggs, Katharine McPhee, Brandon Heath, Sara Evans, Earl Scruggs and Lori McKenna, to name a few.

Jason Sellers is a successful songwriter for acts such as Lonestar, Kenny Chesney, and Montgomery Gentry . In addition, he holds several credits as a session background vocalist.
