This overview session is open to any representative of an arts and culture, heritage or arts service organization receiving funding from the Office of Arts & Culture's Civic Partners funding program. This session will cover:

1)      what to expect for the year

2)      timeline

3)      how you access your award amount

4)      each step of the grants management process

5)      the paperwork/steps you’ll need to follow to receive your grant funding

6)      opportunity to ask any questions about the process

We especially encourage the following individuals to attend:

1)      reps from organizations that are receiving funding for the first time

2)      reps from organizations that have not received funding from this program in a while

3)      staff who are new to managing this grant for your organization

4)      reps from organizations who simply want a refresher on the program as the process continues to evolve

The Office of Arts & Culture’s Civic Partners grant strives to serve all people who live, work in, and visit Seattle by partnering with arts and culture, heritage, and arts service organizations of all sizes and disciplines. The City's investment is aimed at creating broad public access to a rich array of meaningful arts opportunities while promoting a healthy, diverse and inclusive cultural community.

Please note:

We have limited space for most of these, so please do sign up if you plan to attend a session as we cannot guarantee you a seat if you don’t register in advance. We may cancel a session pending sign-ups. And if you sign-up and realize you cannot attend, please email Kathy.Hsieh@seattle.gov so we can free up the spot for someone else. We may send follow-up information to those who register so if you don’t register you may miss getting key information (for instance if a workshop location changes or is cancelled).

Thanks so much! We look forward to meeting with you!
