Cisco Programmability Workshop
Please join the Cisco team for a two day programmability workshop on July 17th and 18th. During this workshop you will learn how to program Cisco network devices using Python and API’s. This workshop will run daily from 0900-1600 hours at the World Wide Technologies Classroom located at 5426 Bay Center Dr suite 250, Tampa, FL 33609.
Each participant must bring their own laptop to participate in the workshop. Each participant should have their developer environment (Python3, Git, Postman, etc) pre-installed prior to the start of the workshop. Instructions for setting up the developer environment can be found at the link below.

0900 – 0945 Welcome and intro – Verify Environment Setup
0945 – 1130 Intro to Python Part 1, Interpreter, Virtual Environments, Data Types, Basic I/O, IDE, etc
1130 – 1230 Lunch/Lab
1230 – 1430 Intro to Python Part 2, File I/O, Collections, Loops, JSON Parsing, paramiko, requests, etc
1430 – 1600 Programming IOS-XE with Python
0900 – 1000 REST API Fundamentals, Postman, Lab
1000 – 1200 Intro to Software Defined WAN programmability, Lab
1200 – 1300 Lunch/Lab
1300– 1430 Introduction to Guest Shell on IOS XE, Lab
1430 – 1600 Intro to Git, Lab
