When an entrepreneur is preparing to launch her or his startup, they want to shout it to the rooftops and build a broad base of awareness. Yet, startups and established businesses face resource challenges that limit their ability to build awareness and trial.

This workshop series will provide entrepreneurs with basic tools they can apply to their own startup to define priority audience segments and create actionable plans to reach them with smart influencer relations activities. And like many things entrepreneurs face, these are activities you can take on for a shoestring budget.

Part 1: Audience Segmentation

Defining a strategic approach for communication is a priority for remaining efficient and focused for any startup. Strategic audience priorities may shift in the months before launch, at and just after launch, and then for sustaining the business. This workshop will help you prioritize which audiences to focus on during each phase and will help you focus your key messages for each audience segment.

Christine (Chris) Hall is a brand strategist, writer, and entrepreneur who helps organizations shape core brand fundamentals, evolve messaging strategies, and engage audiences in meaningful, business-building ways. She is founder of Dead Low Brewing and Blossoms & Root Communications.
