The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t
Families and school groups can celebrate the Christmas season with a production written by children, “The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t”, performed by Child’s Play Touring Theatre.
Child’s Play is a Chicago-based professional theatre for young audiences that performs original works adapted from stories and poems written by children.
"The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t" is a delightful presentation for all ages and a behind-the-scenes peek at the hustle and bustle and near disasters of the Christmas season. Catch these close-call Christmas catastrophes in three short plays that feature live music and audience participation. The plays include “Dinky the Dancing Reindeer”, “How Santa Got Well” and “Santa and the Witch”.
“The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t” features two performances on Thursday, December 15 at 10am and Noon in the IAHC Auditorium.
