Please be aware that as of July 1, 2018, non-profit organizations such as PTK must collect sales tax on all event admissions: Non-profit 501(c)(3) groups must collect sales tax on their charges for all categories of taxable admissions for periods beginning July 1, 2018, forward. The Kentucky Supreme Court recently held that the Ky. Const. Section 170 exemption for charitable institutions applied only to property taxes and not to excise taxes (sales and use tax). The only sales tax exemptions for 501(c)(3) charitable, educational, and religious organizations are those explicitly listed in KRS Chapter 139. Except for the very narrow exemptions for horse racetracks, historical sites, county fairs, elementary and secondary schools, and non-profit 501(c)(3) school-sponsored clubs and organizations, all other entities engaged in sales of admissions must begin collecting tax on these sales. In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! School Day Performances: December 11-12, 2018. Please email ptkybg@gmail.com for school day reservations. Performances begin promptly at the scheduled times. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before show time. Those arriving late will not be seated until after intermission. Online tickets are available for purchase up to three hours prior to performance times. The Public Theatre of Kentucky's Box Office, located inside the Phoenix Theatre, opens for ticket sales one hour before performance times on show days only. If tickets are still available, they may be purchased at the door at this time. LATE SEATING Due to the intimate nature and the layout of the Phoenix Theatre, there will be no late seating. If you arrive late, ushers will seat you after intermission. No refunds will be issued. TICKETING POLICY No refunds on ticket purchases. Tickets can be exchanged for a different performance or production if PTK is notified before the show time of the purchased ticket(s). Alternatively, we would be happy to consider your purchase a donation and send you a tax credit letter in the amount of your purchase. LOUD TALKING, CELL PHONES/ELECTRONICS and DISRUPTIONS DURING PERFORMANCES Disruptions are not tolerated. If anyone disturbs the audience or interferes with the performance, the patron will be required to leave with no refund forthcoming.
