CHP Start Smart Class - Mill Valley Rec Center

The California Highway Patrol's Marin Area Office is partnering with the Mill Valley Police Department to bring Start Smart to the Mill Valley Recreation Center.
Despite safer vehicles, better roads, and countless driving programs, the numbers of young drivers who have lost their lives due to traffic collisions have remained fairly constant for more than a decade. However, these deaths and injuries can be substantially reduced by eliminating high-risk behaviors.

Start Smart is a FREE, two and a half hour, highly impactful interactive traffic safety class designed for drivers or soon to be drivers 15 to 19 years of age and their parents.

** AT LEAST ONE PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST ATTEND WITH THEIR TEEN. (EXCEPT COURT REFERRALS OVER 18 YEARS OLD)
