Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. With its breathtaking photography, nail-biting suspense, and startling emotion, Chasing Coral is a dramatic revelation of an underwater mystery. "A triumph of both visual and narative storytelling" - The Economist

What does OneReef do?

Incorporated in 2012 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, OneReef works to protect coral reef ecosystems by establishing partnerships between local stewards and a global community willing to invest in their conservation efforts.

The OneReef Community Partnership Model has protected more than 350,000 acres of coral reef across Micronesia, at the low annual cost of $3/acre, with the ultimate goal to protect more than 2.7 million acres (20%) of the region’s reefs.

Funders and local communities want to work with OneReef because they get measurable outcomes… more fish, more jobs, new skills, healthier reefs, protection against climate change, and an intact legacy of beauty and economic benefits to leave to future generations.
