This Meetup is meant for working on ANY charity projects, but feel free to work on your own project if you don’t have a charity project at the moment.
This year we’ll continue working on scarves for Operation Gratitude (servicemen and women) and Red Scarf Project (fosters who aged out and went on to college). Both of these organizations have their own specific size and fabric requirements. You can get a copy of the guidelines at www.knerdyknitters.com

GUIDELINES
Since these online meetings have mostly replaced our in-person meetings, we ask that you conduct yourself in the same way as if we were meeting in-person, especially when it comes to appearance, behavior, and respect for others. Specifically, we ask the following:
• Please refrain from using profanity or obscene language.
• Please avoid heated discussions regarding politics or religion.
• Disparaging remarks to other attendees will not be tolerated.
• Nudity, or the illusion of nudity, is not acceptable. If wearing strapless garments, please adjust your camera to either show your torso or crop to your face.
We want to ensure that these online meetings are a comfortable and enjoyable forum for ALL to participate and appreciate your cooperation and empathy with this matter.

The Knerdy Knitters & Crocheters of the SFV is a knitting, crochet, and fiber artist guild based in the San Fernando Valley (Burbank area). Our purpose is to promote and support the fiber arts. We rely on membership dues to fund our guild. Membership is not required to participate in this meetup.
Now thru December 31st, 2020, membership has been reduced to $10 (typically $30). You also have the option of making an additional donation to help offset our operating costs. Members will receive a gift and are invited to participate in member-only activities such as the Stash Exchange, Holiday Party, retreats, and more. Members are also invited to participate in fiber arts-related charity and volunteer work. For more information about the guild and membership, please visit:
