CHAIROGRAPHY S1E5

Chairography is a 2.5 hour dance workshop, focused on dance performance with/on a chair. Class size has been limited so everyone has space to dance and live their Chairography dreams to the maximum. This is a workshop focused on dancing with/on a chair so heels are optional, not required.

The workshop will begin with a full body warm up. The warm up will include strength and lengthening exercises as well as dance exercises that will help your body prepare for Chairography.

The choreography portion will be the bulk of the workshop. There will be assistants upfront/through out the entire class to demonstrate and help you visualize/execute the moves. It is not everyday that dancers get to work with/on chairs. So, there will be extra care taken during this portion of the workshop. Questions are encouraged!!!

After the choreography portion, comes groups. This will give everyone a chance to really give it their own. After a few rounds of groups, we will begin the final portion of the workshop. That is filming by a professional videographer in smaller groups, in front of the light wall like the promo videos. This will give the feeling of dancing and performing on a big stage and will provide you with the vibes and mood to really give it your all. This portion is not a requirement, but is highly encouraged.

There will be a professional videographer and photographer present to capture moments during the entire class. So personal filming/photographing devices are not allowed during the workshop. This will keep you focused on the workshop and not trying to film yourself. All content, photos and videos, will be available to all attendees.

This class is NOT for first time dancers or even new dancers. Previous dance experience is required. Chairography will impliment dance techniques and will also require some flexibilty. For those that are newer to dance or beginners, I have CHAIROGRAPHY 101.

Different Ticket Types

General Admission - General Admission will get you in and jamin Chairography wise. Just nice, fantastic 2.5hr workshop. Everything mentioned above is part of General Admission.

VIP Admssion - The VIP is an add on to the general admission. This will give you a chane to get filmed solo in front of the amazing light wall. The filming is done by the professional videographer. You will also be photographed the entire time, by a professional photographer. So with this, you get bunch of amazing pictures that are edited and also amazing video that will feature YOU and only YOU! An amazing deal if you are looking for some HOT new pics and solo footage for your REEL.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Plenty of free parking on Highland Avenue at 7pm. But it is Los Angeles, so please read the signs carefully.
