Satisha K Venkataramaiah is a strong believer of the fact that human beings are born with a trait to inspect and adapt and they effectively do that in small herds. He believes that any activity (software development, coaching or training) is highly effective when done with smaller teams, hands on than taking on a big enterprise. He had the privilege to sit next to a customer and develop software to solve their problems; 30 minutes into his first job. So, he strongly believes in collaborating with customer's to build simple and valuable products rather than building sophisticated fancy products. He is an active Product Owner and spends most of his time building products for Startups and Product Managers. He has over 18 years of experience in solving user problems using software in various roles but every role focused on the value being created for the end user.

This is two-day course will provide the expertise needed to utilize Scrum to develop and innovate from concept to product. Develop the skills needed to communicate with Scrum teams and create a product backlog that is clear and manageable. The Certified Product Owner® (CSPO) course is a two-day, entry-level course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer®. The CSPO course is designed to cover all the basics of Scrum and also provide a large amount of material devoted to the Product Owner role.

• Scrum basics and core values
• How the Scrum framework compares to other methods and when to use Scrum
• A Scrum team’s three roles and responsibilities
• The scope of the Product Owner’s role in detail
• The ScrumMaster and Team roles at a high level
• Developing a Product Vision and its role in galvanizing the team
• Different estimation levels in Scrum
• The Product Backlog—what it is (and is not) and how to groom and prioritize
• Release Management and measuring velocity
• Sprint planning and Daily Scrum Meeting
• Ways to effectively deal with stakeholders

Two-day (16 hour) CSPO course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®) or Endorsed Scrum Trainer® (EST®).

• PMP’s: This course counts for 15 Professional Development Units (PDUs).
• Scrum Alliance Members: This course counts for 16 Scrum Education Units (SEUs).
• PMI-ACP: This course counts is 15 of the 21 contact hours needed to be eligible for the PMI-ACP certification.

In order for us to provide the most experienced instructors and a superior classroom environment, we must ask you to adhere to our cancellation policy. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule this registration, please notify us immediately. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 11 or more business days prior to class, 100% refund of tuition.
• 1-10 business days prior to class, no refund, but may reschedule another class within one year of date of cancelled class.
• First day of class, no refund of tuition, retake policy may apply.
