This is a 2-day course hosted by  Scrum Alliance® Certified Scrum Trainer®. Upon passing the CSM® exam, you will be recognized as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) by the Scrum Alliance.

Julie Chickering is a Certified Scrum Trainer and agile coach. She has the proven ability to transfer job knowledge and skills to all levels, and has a solid track record coaching through the challenging transition from waterfall to Agile practices. Julie believes that Lean and Agile practices are packed with potential — to enable positive culture change, business agility, and breakthrough results. She has a strong track record of helping organizations of all sizes in various industries successfully execute Lean and Agile transformations. Julie brings personal, real-world experience to every training and coaching engagement, working with people at all levels — executive, program, and team — to adopt and roll out realistic Agile strategies organization-wide. Julie is past president and board member of the Agile Project Management Network (APLN), Julie is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) in addition to the PMI-PMP certification.

This is a highly interactive course where students are encouraged to ask questions and be engaged in the class activities to cement their learning. The course objectives are enhanced by real-world experiences shared by the instructor. The instructor shares Scrum rules and various opinions so that students can best understand how this will impact them and which techniques are flexible and which ones can’t be changed in order to obtain the benefits of Scrum.

Certification: 

After the course, the CST® will enter qualifying students’ registration information with the Scrum Alliance and those students will then have access to the ScrumMaster exam. To pass, students must answer at least 24 of the 35 questions correctly (includes multiple choice and true/false questions). The exam is taken online, is not time restricted, and is open book.

You will have two attempts within 90 calendar days after you receive your welcome email to pass the test at no cost. After two attempts and/or 90 calendar days, you will be charged $25 for each additional attempt.

In order for us to provide the most experienced instructors and a superior classroom environment, we must ask you to adhere to our cancellation policy. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule this registration, please notify us immediately. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 11 or more business days prior to class, 100% refund of tuition.
• 1-10 business days prior to class, no refund, but may reschedule another class within one year of date of cancelled class.
• First day of class, no refund of tuition, retake policy may apply.
