This is a 2-day course hosted by  Scrum Alliance® Certified Scrum Trainer®. Upon passing the CSM® exam, you will be recognized as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) by the Scrum Alliance.

BONUS: Prepare to pass the CSM Exam by taking the EXAM in the class on Day 2 at the end of the CSM Course.

Fadi Stephan is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and Agile coach with more than twenty years of professional experience as a product manager, project manager, software developer, ScrumMaster and technology executive at both Federal Agencies and businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Since 2006, his focus has been on building high performing organizations and teams that focus on delivering value early and maximizing ROI. Fadi is founder of the DC Software Craftsmanship User Group, co-organizer of the DC Scrum User Group, as well as the TechTalkDC User Group, and is a frequent speaker at local, national and international conferences.

Course Overview:

This is a highly interactive course where students are encouraged to ask questions and be engaged in the class activities to cement their learning. The course objectives are enhanced by real-world experiences shared by the instructor. The instructor shares Scrum rules and various opinions so that students can best understand how this will impact them and which techniques are flexible and which ones can’t be changed in order to obtain the benefits of Scrum.

Certification: 

After the course, the CST® will enter qualifying students’ registration information with the Scrum Alliance and those students will then have access to the ScrumMaster exam. To pass, students must at least answer 37 out of the 50 questions correctly (includes multiple choice and true/false questions). The exam is taken online with open book and has a 60 minute time limit.

You will have two attempts within 90 calendar days after you receive your welcome email to pass the test at no cost. After two attempts and/or 90 calendar days, you will be charged $25 for each additional attempt.

Cancellation Policy:

 In order for us to provide the most experienced instructors and a superior classroom environment, we must ask you to adhere to our cancellation policy. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule this registration, please notify us immediately. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 15 or more business days prior to class, 100% full refund of tuition.
• 8-15 business days prior to class, no refund, but may reschedule to another class within one year of date of cancelled class.
• 3-7 business days from the course start date, no refund is allowed but may reschedule to a future date within one year, with a charge of $200 cancellation/move fee.
• 2 business days from the start of a class, or if you do not attend the class, you will not be eligible for a refund or reschedule/credit(future dates).
