courses are limited to 16 participants to facilitate collaboration and interaction in the classroom.

About this Training:
Day I (9:00am-5:00pm):
Participants are introduced to key concepts of partnering for collaboration in the care of persons living with a dementia, to support an active and meaningful lifestyle.
Courses include:
Day II (9:00am-5:00pm):
Participants incorporate techniques and explore resources to develop increased self awareness within their practice, a non-pharmacologic approach to distressing behaviors, and strategies to enhance active participation, leadership, and quality of life for persons living with dementia.
Pre-work Requirements:
One case study to share with the trainers
Training Requirements:
13 hours of classroom training with Inspired Memory Care’s principal trainers
Three video consent forms and three 30-minute, videotaped interactions demonstrating appropriate application of techniques with post-critique.
First video due within one-month post-training
Second video due within two months post-training
Third video due within three months post-training

Participants must attend the full instruction time in order to qualify for certification.
This certification training is not intended to certify the participant as a trainer of the content learned.

Deadlines and Cancellations: Should you be unable to attend the course after registering, you must notify IMC no later than June 1st, 2020, via phone or email in order to receive a 75% refund. Registrants who cancel after June 1st, 2020, or are no-shows will be held responsible for the full amount of their registration fee.
Although no credits or refunds will be available after June 1st, 2020 organizations may choose to send qualified substitutes, pending IMC approval and space permitting. Substitutes must:
