CEAC Aquaponics Intensive Workshop
The University of Arizona Controlled Environment Agriculture Center is holding its first Intensive workshop on Aquaponics.
The workshop will be a 3-day intensive workshop focusing on small to mid-scale commercial aquaponics. This event is perfect for individuals interested in starting their own aquaponics business or doing more advanced home aquaponics. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge about building, starting and running aquaponics systems from industry experts.
Workshop Instructor:
Dr. Matthew "Rex" Recsetar, PhD
A former Extension Aquaculture Specialist and aquaponics expert, Rex has been consulting on Aquaponics for the past 8 years and currently teaches Aquaponics Design and Aquaponics Engineering at the University of Arizona.
Guest Lecturer:
Dr. Stacy Tollefson, PhD
A Professor of Practice in Biosystems Engineering, Stacy has extensive experience in greenhouse management, hydroponics and greenhouse pest management. She currently teaches Introduction to Hydroponics, Advanced Hydroponics and Greenhouse Pest Management at the University of Arizona.
