CCW Prep - Live Fire Course March 3, 2020

This is a live-fire course!

CCW Prep Course is every 1st Tuesday of each Month, with exception of New Years and 4th of July

$25.00 per person - Pregnant and women who are nursing should consider the potential risks from this event.

Instructors: AVGC Training Team 

This class is to help you prepare for both the application process and the shooting portion of your CCW qualification.  On the range you will shoot the same style target, B-27, that is used by the San Bernardino Sheriff's Office. The class includes both classroom and range time.  There will be discussion on the fundamentals of shooting, as well as the legal responsibilities of concealled carry.  

Supplies and Equipment: 

Bring the firearms you have or will list on your CCW application.  You are allowed up to three (3) firearms.  You will have the opportunity to shoot more than once, so it is recommended that you bring a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition per firearm (No Reloads).  2 Magazines or speed loaders per firearm.  

Please leave your firearm and ammunition in your locked vehicle until instructed otherwise by an instructor.  

A "locked container" is a secure container that is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, key lock, combination lock, or similar locking device. Locked container does not include the glove compartment or utility compartment.

Adequate eye and hearing protection. Although not required, it is strongly recommended that you bring electronic hearing protection.  Electronic hearing protection will allow you to hear all instruction, range commands and receive the most benefit from the course.

 Time will be spent ouside, so please dress accordingly for the weather.  Pen, pencil and notepad.  Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice.  Snacks, soda and water, for 50 cent each, are available in the classroom but not while on the range.
