About your teacher:

Sufi Ertur is a Los Angeles based Carriage House Birth and Postpartum Doula (CAPPA), Infant Care and Birth Educator (ICEA).  She has been practicing for over 18 years and has worked with over 800 families, attending over 500 births since 2001. Sufi believes each baby is an individual, and has made it her life's purpose to educate away from the old ideas of an infant being a blank slate.  Come ready to explore, laugh, and connect!

Background on Carriage House Birth:

Carriage House Birth started in 2012 as a small doula agency in Brooklyn, New York providing Doula services and a cozy home for our neighborhood families. We expanded our agency to serve Los Angeles in 2014.

Since its formation, the company has been led by three co-founders, Domino Kirke-Badgley, Lindsey Bliss and Samantha Huggins. Bringing a fresh and holistic approach to maternal-fetal care, CHB offers education, emotional, and non-clinical physical support to their clients during the perinatal period for parents to be and the Doulas who support them.

Carriage House Birth is honored to have served over 2500+ families in New York and Los Angeles since 2011 with birth and postpartum support, infant feeding support, childbirth education and more.  Since 2017, we have had the absolute pleasure of training hundreds of birth and postpartum doulas worldwide.
