Carnevale Evening In Venice with Carla Gambescia

Join us for a special Eataly Carnevale celebration: a feast of cicchetti (small plates Venetian-style) and an entertaining exploration of Venice, the most improbable of cities, once the luxury and pleasure capital of Europe and home of Mardi Gras (Martedi Grasso), led by award-winning author and cultural expert Carla Gambescia.
Through an engaging Q & A format, you will test your knowledge while discovering surprising facts and little-known backstories of La Serenissima's colorful, opulent and captivating history. Carla’s book — La Dolce Vita University: An Unconventional Guide to Italian Culture from A to Z, Silver Prize winner of “Best Travel Book of the Year” is an eclectic compendium of all things Italian and a joyful celebration of why we all love Italy. Even the most sophisticated Italophile will come away with new insights!!
At this trivia event, guests will:
Learn about one of the most festive times of the year celebrated in Italy.
Participate in the trivia hosted by Carla Gambescia on all things Carnevale.
Enjoy Venetian inspired plates with a complementary glass of wine. (Set menu will be created for this event - email Scuola team to verify the dietary accommodations that can be made.)
Take home adapted recipe and wine notes.

Seating is first come, first serve.
Restrictions: Ages 12 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person.
