Welcome to Career Goals, a badass group full of ladies of all industries who are looking for community and getting some shit done in their careers.

So happy to have you join us! Here are all the details about the evening and what you can expect each meeting.

WHEN

We will meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Can't make it to both, no worries! This is why I wanted to have two. Want to come to both. Great. Need to skip and entire month? Totally fine. Do what works best with your schedule and commit to what you think is necessary!

WHERE

My apartment in Atwater!

I am on the second floor. Just head stright up the stairs.

PARKING

There is plenty of street parking. Woo! 

Public Transportation Options

Bus: I am a seven minute walk away from the 62 line and an eleven minute walk from the 603

TIMELINE

7:00 - Mix & mingle because traffic is the worst and people will be late

7:30 - Career Goals start, introductions, goal setting, world domination begins

9:30 - My boyfriend is allowed to come back home

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Two lists - One of accomplishments that you have made in the past 30 days and one with goals that you would like to accomplish in the next 30 days. Remember to celebrate the small wins! (i.e. You e-mailed a prospective client. You went to a networking event. You are a mom and put on pants three times this week! Huzzah!)

Include micro-goals. Think of this as a to-do list that you are actually going to hold yourself accountable for. You can totally include larger, more long-term goals, but this group is about holding yourself accountable with the small stuff that will get you to those big dream babies of yours.

There will also be a portion to share resources to the group. Are you going to a cool class that people should know about? Maybe a networking opportunity, or a program that really helped you get ahead? It doesn't matter if it is industry specific. You never know where you will find your next business partner, opportunity or inspiration!

OTHER INFO

I will provide wine*, snacks and bubbly water. However, if you want to dinner, BYOTB (bring your own Taco Bell)  if you want something a bit heavier. This is a casual event. I have an oven and microwave if needed. It is Monday. We all have probably have had some sort of day. My home is your home. 

*Please note that this meetup is 21+ due to the presence of booze.
