CampFI is a 3 day & night retreat that generally includes over 50 campers on their road to financial independence. Accommodations and recreational activities vary by location, usually including double occupancy hotel-style rooms. However, past accomodations have included single-person rooms (one bed), some rooms with more than two people and even outdoorsy tent / chalet options. Again, each camp venue will have it's own specific offerings. In 2018 there were a total of 6 camps in 5 locations (Florida, Virginia, California, Minnesota, and Arkansas) and there will be at least as many CampFI's in 2019. The 2019 CampFI Schedule will be made available on October 1st, 2018 on the CampFI website (www.campfi.org) and facebook page (www.facebook.com/campfi.org)
CampFI is an inclusive place, open to everyone regardless of where you are on the path to Financial Independence (from heavily in debt to already Financially Independent)
If you live in (or want to visit) the beautiful Rocky Moutains region and would like to hang out with other FIREwalkers for a fun-filled, relaxing weekend, take a break from the grind and please join us.
Speakers will be determined much closer to the event date.

CampFI is NOT JUST FOR BLOGGERS! People from all walks of life including students, dentists, lawyers, engineers, accountants, and members of the military share their unique experiences and interesting stories. Strong and lasting friendships will be made.
Your ticket covers FOOD (Dinner on Friday through Breakfast on Monday) and LODGING for 3 nights.
Can I come just for the day?
We decided against offering day passes as we feel the full weekend provides the best overall experience, based on past events.
How much are children?
< 3 years old: Free
3 - 11 years old: $300 each
12 years and older: $450 each
Children are welcome. Most rooms are double occupancy. A few are triple occupancy. If two adults bring a child, there is no charge for the child under 3 years old as that does not increase the amount of lodging capacity required.
Can I get a private bed?
No. The retreat center has provided us double occupancy rooms. This is reflected in the pricing. If there is a reason you may NEED a private room, please let me know and I can check with the retreat center to accomodate.
How many tickets are there?
There are 50 tickets available.
Are the tickets refundable?
No. Tickets are not refundable but they are independently transferrable up to 2 weeks prior to the event as long as you and the transferee provide updated information so that I can appropriately assign rooms. Once tickets are sold out, you are welcome to use the CampFI FB page to advertise any tickets you may be looking to sell.
I purchased a ticket. When do I get all the details?
Within two months prior to the event, you will receive an email invitation to join the Camp FI: Alumni FB page where you will receive all the details you need. For those of you who do not use Facebook, you will receive the information to the email address you provide upon ticket purchase.
