Activities will include the basics of hand and machine sewing, hand applique, upcycling vintage garments, natural dying, fashion illustration and mood boards, visits to local manufacturers and retail stores, and will end in a community fashion show! Designer Bio: Roxi Suger is the founder and designer of Angelrox, a Biddeford-based, sustainable bamboo women's clothing company located in the Pepperell Mill campus. Her flagship retail store, Suger, is located on Alfred Street in Biddeford.  A second Suger is located in the bustling Old Port on Commercial Street in Portland.  Roxi began her career when she learned how to sew at age eight from two loving Grannies. After securing a Summa Cum Laude degree in Clothing, Textiles and Design from the University of Alabama, she migrated to New York City where she spent 18 years designing for a range of companies from Vivianne Tam to Urban Outfitters before launching Angelrox in 1999. While establishing her brand she also taught fashion industry design at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. Angelrox is currently sold in over 300 boutiques nationwide.  Her spirit of joy is prevalent in all she does and her mantra is “may peace prevail”.
