The California Department of Veterans Affairs' California Transition Assistance Program (CalTAP) is a seminar for Service Members and Veterans who have decided to reside in California after completing their military service. CalTAP serves to connect Veterans, Service Members, and their families with California specific resources to ensure their success in civilian life.

Topics covered include:

• CalTAP online

• Introduction to CalVet outreach and the County Veterans Service offices

• California Community Colleges, California State Universities, and the University of California

• California employment outlook including private sector and opportunities with the State of California

• One on one sessions with subject matter experts to answer specific questions about the benefits available to our California Veterans
