Head to the Back Bay neighborhood for check-in where the lights begin! Tours will meet at either Pour House or McGreevy's (be sure to check your ticket type for your meeting location). Here we'll take in the Christmas decorations at a neighborhood bar while enjoying a bowl of clam chowder as we prep for our gawker ride through Boston's yuletide lights.

Bring your own beverages for the vintage trolley, cups will be provided. As soon as we board the trolley the fun begins. Our first leg will be the longest as we head out to see a few residential displays. Our tour guide will keep you entertained on the trolley ride with trivia and Christmas sing alongs! Next we'll head to Fanueil Hall so everyone can stretch their legs, shop, and see the Fanueil Hall 2019 Light Show.

After Fanueil Hall we'll cruise around the streets of downtown Boston and see the light displays at places like Boston Common and Rose Kennedy Greenway.

After soaking in the urban lights, we'll head back to Pour House or McGreevy's alongside new friends and filled with holiday cheer.

Fine Print & FAQs

Fine Print: All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are only valid for scheduled event date and event time. No refunds or reschedules will be provided to anyone who misses scheduled event. Event is rain, shine or snow. No refunds will be given to customers who do not attend the scheduled event due to weather. If roads are closed on the trolley route due to weather and event must be cancelled, customers will be contacted via e-mail. Event is 21+. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted into the event. BYOB is for trolley ride ONLY. None of the alcohol you bring can be opened at the bar or brought off the trolley. No open or unsealed bottles will be permitted into Pour House or McGreevy's. Coolers MUST be small enough to fit under your trolley seat. Multiple trolleys run each night. To guarantee your group will be on the same trolley tickets must be purchased together. Duration of event is 5 hours - trolley ride is approximately 4 hours*

What lights can I expect to see on the trolley ride?

We have created a BYOB Holiday Lights Trolley ride that will take you the best lighting displays Boston has to offer. We do not create our own light displays and do not guarantee you will see light displays for the entire 4 hour trolley ride. You will see some residential displays, Faneuil Hall's display, Rose Kennedy Greenway display, Boston Common display and Commonwealth Ave. display. Our tour guides will keep you entertained between those displays while everyone enjoys drinks, music and trivia on the trolley ride!

What does each ticket type mean - Pour House, McGreevy's?

Your ticket type indicates where you will check-in and where your trolley will pick up. Pour House (907 Boylston), McGreevy's (911 Boylston). EVERYTHING else will be the same, including a bowl of chowder at check-in.

How many people fit on a trolley? Can you rent the entire trolley or do a private event?

Our private tours can fit up to 28 customers. If you are interested in booking a private tour, please contact benefitzco@gmail.com and be sure to reference BOSTON. Private trolleys are very limited and go quickly so please contact as soon as possible.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

21+. This is a 21+ event, no one without a valid 21+ ID will be admitted to the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring your ticket (either printed or electronic) and your ID with you to check-in.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

As long as the attendee has a ticket (either printed or electronic) it does not matter if the ticket name matches the name of the attendee.

Something has come up and I can’t make the event for the date I scheduled. Can I reschedule my ticket for a different date?

You cannot transfer your ticket to a different date. Once tickets are purchased all sales are final. You may give your tickets away (again the ticket name does not need to match the attendee name).

I would like to add on one more ticket for a friend, but it says the event is sold out. Can I add on just one more ticket?

Unfortunately, no. Once an event says sold out there are no more tickets available for that date. We are limited due to seating constraints on the trolley and cannot oversell the event.

Are we allowed to drink on the trolley?

Yes! The event is BYOB and you are allowed to drink on the trolley. We ask everyone to drink responsibly. If you take an open container off the trolley you will be asked to leave the tour. If you arrive overly intoxicated or become overly intoxicated and inappropriate you will be asked to leave the tour. Please bring coolers that are small enough to fit under your seat. We will have cups provided as you are not to drink out of glass on the trolley.

What time should I arrive for the event?

Check-in is at the scheduled start time of your event. The trolley will depart 1 hour after the start time. If you arrive early that's okay, but we will check-in during those scheduled times. If you arrive late, that's okay too, but the trolley will depart promptly at the scheduled departure time. Please see the event itinerary schedule listed above.
