Bunny's Creative Edge Acrylic Pour Painting Class

It may be cold outside, but it’s time to try your hand at Acrylic Pour Painting in a fun atmosphere. This 90+ minute class is designed to introduce the creative experience to first-time students who many times say "But I'm not creative. I'm not an artist." The beauty of acrylic pour painting is that you won't be trying to "draw" or recreate a scene or object. This fun process is all about abstract creation!  If you've had experience at acrylic pour painting, Bunny will be able to show you new ideas, techniques and suggestions to advance your knowledge. Please register and be part of the class.

Everything is Provided

Everything is provided for you to create your own, original painting. Although we supply aprons and gloves, Bunny suggests you wear old clothing since there may be paint spatters. You'll create your unique art creation on a large, 12" X12" square canvas. The cost for this fun class - with everything included - is just $35. 

Bunny is a Great Teacher - Small Class Size

Bunny teaches small classes of up to eight (8) students. This allows her to work closely with everyone, offering guidance, suggestions, and answering questions. And you will have questions, so feel free to ask away!

She starts out with an overview of the process with lots of tips and tricks. Then she'll do technique demonstrations...so you'll have an idea what you would like to try. 

Then it's time to "get to work"

Once you've heard about the process and seen Bunny demonstrate -  it's time to pick your paint colors, put on your apron and gloves and get creative! This is where the fun really begins. Bunny knows you'll be a little apprehensive, but she'll be right there to help you through every step of the process - from instructing you on how to mix your paint correctly, to that final tip of the canvas.  

Miscellaneous info

Parking: Bunny's studio is in her home and there is room for two cars in her double driveway and plenty of parking on both sides of the street in front of her home.  

Stairs: Since Bunny's studio is in the lower level of her home, there are stairs to navigate. Her apologies to those who have difficulty climbing stairs.

Cat Allergy? If you are allergic to cats, we have three. They sometimes wander around the painting class, so please be aware. If you are only slightly allergic, let Bunny know and we will close them off upstairs away from the class, which is in the lower level. 

Kids Welcome: Kids, ages 11 and older, are welcome. We've had good luck with kids, as they show natural curiosity and creativity without worrying so much about the outcomes. We do ask there be an adult with "kid groups." 

Paintings Must Dry 

Since acrylic paint (you'll use a lot of it) takes several days to properly dry, you'll have to leave your painting with Bunny for about a week. For those who choose, she can also apply a glossy coating (at no extra cost). She will contact you when your painting is ready.

Classes start promptly - Please be on time

Everyone's lives are super busy, so Bunny likes to begin on time. Since her home is in south Fargo (just five blocks east on 35th Ave South from Courts Plus on South University), please allow time to find us. If you need instructions, please call her at 701-238-8257.
