Building Community (Portland)

Get up and get moving! Participants in this workshop will focus on the role that different kinds of activities play in building a community of peers and adults. Research has shown that a sense of safety and belonging is essential for youth to learn and develop as individuals. Participants in this workshop will experience and practice a variety of activities to add to their existing “toolkit” of intentional, fun, engaging, age appropriate, activities that support the community building process
