BSC Class: Storytelling Fundamentals - Crafting Tales That Captivate Any Audience

Everyone loves a good story. Whether you are teaching a lesson, leading a meeting or presentation, or going on a date, storytelling is an incredible approach to effective communication. But what makes a story stand out, and engage the listener? A dramatic hook, a funny anecdote or a solid button – all can encourage looking, increase understanding and snag the audience.

This workshop uses interactive activities to teach the basics of good storytelling. In Storytelling Fundamentals – Crafting Tales That Captivate Any Audience, students will learn tips and tricks to make their stories fun, engaging, and interesting, and have a chance to workshop the beginnings of story with personalized feedback.

Realizing the connection between improvisation and communication, The Engaging Educator (@TheEngagingEd), specializes in customized improv-based education. We provide classes that enhance public speaking, creativity, flexibility, positive risk-taking, teamwork and more by flexing improv muscles. Beyond our classes for educators and professionals, we also specialize in improv for high school students, corporate workshops, and improv for individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as individuals with cerebral palsy.
