What is the concept of Brush & Move?

Brush & Move is an original concept of Tisha Lawrence with Maximum One Realty Partners.  This unique gathering experience was created to couple a fun and relaxing activity with meeting professionals in the real estate industry.

Who is invited?

Any person that has had thoughts of buying, selling, lease purchasing, or refinancing a house. It is never too early to start the process!

You may want to attend if you have questions such as:

• Will my student loans hinder my loan approval?
• Will my medical debt hinder my loan approval?
• How long will my Chapter 7 or 13 keep me from obtaining a home loan?
• Is lease purchasing the right move for my situation?
• Can I be approved for a loan if I have the income but another person has better credit to be a co-borrower?
• Am I eligible for the $15,000 HHF Georgia Dream down payment assistance program?
• If I am self-employed, can I buy house?
• I don't have downpayment money, but people are willing to offer a gift to help me by a house. Is this possible?

Will there be a lender at this event?

Yes, a lender will be in attendance. If you want to know how close you are to securing financing, bring the following with you. 

• Last 2 paycheck stubs
• Last 2 recent W-2's
• Last 2 bank statements

You will also leave with a plan of action to properly secure a loan and increase your chances of a lower interest rate.

Where will the event be held?

The Brush & Move homeownership meetup is conveniently located just off of Interstate 285 and exit 60. Event held rain or shine.

Will there be refreshments?

Of course!  We will enjoy a light dinner while painting pottery (if you choose to) and talking real estate.

What items are available for painting?

The items are a kitchen sponge holder or a spoon rest. Get those sponges off the sink and messy spoons off the stove or counter.

Come paint with us! This is the only place by the airport to paint pottery!

Never painted pottery before? No problem! The bisque, painting supplies, and assistance is all included.

Door prizes! 

Refreshments will be served!

Must I register if I want to come but do not want to paint pottery?

Yes, there is a Free ticket available on the registration page. 

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is plenty of parking. Marta is also accessible in front of the building.

• The pottery pieces will be professionally glazed and fired after the event. Pieces typically take 7-10 days to be ready as with any pottery location. Your finished product will be well worth the wait!
