Broadway Bares SF/San Francisco Strips IV

Watch your favorite comic book characters strip or get stripped in a tongue-in-cheek series of dances while battling their foes and celebrating all things burlesque.
Broadway Bares/San Francisco Strips is a good old fashioned burlesque show in the Vaudeville tradition with a modern twist featuring dozens of hot dancers stripping to raise money for HIV/AIDS, hunger and homeless youth services.
Broadway Bares was crated in 1992 by Tony Award winning director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell as a way to raise awareness and money for those living with HIV/AIDS. In its first year, Mitchell and friends danced on a New York City bar and raised $8,000. Last year, the NY show's 28th edition raised $1.9 million! Broadway Bares was first brought to San Francisco in 2016 by former Broadway Bares dancer Deb Leamy. Now, several years later in its 4th edition: Comic Strips, this striptease spectacular is still going strong.
All proceeds from the show go towards Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which benefits programs that help mitigate the suffering of individuals in the US affected by HIV/AIDS, and the Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation, which provides aid to and support for HIV services, hunger programs, and homeless and disenfranchised youth right here in SF.
