This hands-on advanced styling workshop provides education, inspiration and practical techniques that can be used in the salon or editorial shoot the next day. Our Creative Director of Oribe Education, Julianne McGuigan, is a highly sought after editorial artist, educator and a very passionate advocate of her craft. Rogue Beauty is excited to have her on our team.

At this workshop you will learn both editorial and salon-friendly techniques. You’ll explore the references used by our global Oribe educators to create several looks and learn how to adapt these trends into everyday styles you can use behind the chair. During the hands-on workshop, you will style your own live model using innovative techniques for styling, sculpting, tracking, braiding and more. Be inspired by the artistry and learn how to upgrade your customers into luxury styling services. 

Please provide your own hands-on styling model. She should have medium length and medium thickness hair. 

• Model wardrobe is all black, heels, flats or sandals OK, no thongs please.
• Model makeup should be minimal (no excessively dark/heavy eye makeup).
• Model to arrive at 11am.

Here are the recommended tools to bring with you:

• Flat Iron
• Blow-dryer, Nozzle and Diffuser 
• Curling Irons with clamps (Small, Medium, Large)
• Round Brushes (various sizes)
• Tail Comb
• Flat Brush
• Sectioning Clips
• Double Prong Silver Clips
• U pins and fringe pins
• Spray Bottle
• Cape (black and unbranded is preferred)
