Bridgeport Mill Training

This class, which is only for members of the Rochester Makerspace who have been certified on our combination machine mill and lathe, will teach you how to safely and properly use our Bridgeport Mill. Following an introduction and demonstration by the instructor, each student will acquire 30 minutes of guided, hands-on experience with the mill. Students who pass the standards of certification for this machine will be allowed to use it whenever they are at the Makerspace. Students who are inexperienced with professional-grade machine tools should expect to take at least 3 separate classes to qualify for certification. More experienced students may require only 1 or 2 classes. If you are not a member or are not certified to use our combination machine mill and lathe, you will not be permitted to participate in this class!
