FAQs
Is there a minimum age requirement to take the BRC1?
The minimum age to take the course is 17. If you are 17, a parent or guardian needs to arrive at the door with you on the first night of class to sign the waivers for minors.
What do I need to bring to the Tuesday night's classroom session?
For the first night or session of the class, bring a pen, your photo ID Driver License and your Basic eCourse Completion Certificate. During the first night of the BRC1 class, we'll tell you what you need to bring for the practice riding sessions.
What is your Refund/Cancellation/Switching Classes policy?
Here's our Refund/Cancellation/Switching Classes policy which is posted on our website;
Refunds
We are the only motorcycle school in NJ that offers refunds for the following;
Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to RidingAcademy1@aol.com.
Switching/Rescheduling Classes
All switching/rescheduling requests must be made in writing via email to RidingAcademy1@aol.com.
Strict Policy
Our Refund/Cancellation/Switching Classes policies are very strict because we do not want to lose money on a class. Since we offer more benefits and features than all the other motorcycle schools in NJ, we run on a very small profit margin and cannot afford to lose money. If you miss a class, can't make a class or arrive too late to attend a class, we can't just put you in another class. If we do, we lose the ability to sell that seat and we lose $319 on that class (BRC1). Same concept applies with last minute refund requests - we lose the ability to sell that seat to someone else and we lose $319 (BRC1).
*Counseled Out of the BRC1We reserve the right to counsel out (remove) a student from a class if they are struggling, not able to keep up with the pace of the class, didn't meet the objective of a riding exercise within the time frame allotted for the exercise or are a safety hazard to themselves or others in the class.
