From the course: learn to identify signs of suicide, practice sensitively and confidently asking individuals if they're considering suicide, and learn how to connect individuals to resources and community supports. This workshop will address navigating suicide across diverse populations and how to be culturally responsive in approaching suicide.
Training Goals
After the training, Project Safety Net will facilitate a debrief and conversation on the role of culture in suicide prevention from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. We encourage training participants to join us - dinner will be provided.
