BOTANICAL BUNDLE DYEING WORKSHOP

Learn about natural dyes and how to extract color from flowers. In this botanical alchemy workshop you’ll learn the “Bundle Dyeing” technique; simple fold and bind techniques to achieve a range of patterns and colors with flowers and plants.

We will practice bundle dyeing and learn the simple steaming process to create colorful results. Each attendee will create a unique, beautiful, natural-dye-printed silk scarf and be given two pieces of fabric to experiment with and dye. Class fee includes all supplies. Attendees are welcome to bring 3-4 additional small pieces of clothing or fabric to dye.
