Lara LybergBusiness Strategist – Blockchain at Lab of Forward Thinking, John Hancock

Lara focuses on the overall product roadmap, long- and short-term strategy and direction for blockchain technology within the company. Previously, she was a Client Relationship Manager for clean energy investments at Seamans Capital Management, LLC. Lara was also previously an Equity Product Manager for State Street Global Markets, LLC focusing on S&P 500 and retail 401(k) clients. She is currently pursuing a MBA and M.S. in Finance Dual Degree at Boston College Carroll School of Management.

Gari is a versatile technologist with over 16 years of experience in end-to-end product delivery, including 5+ years of product management, 9+ years of sales and technical sales and 7+ years of consulting and implementation.

Speaker:

Greg Haskins, Distinguished Engineer - Managing Director at State Street, member of Hyperledger Technical Steering Committee

Greg is a Distinguished Engineer at State Street with 20 years of software experience in various industries including telecommunications and financial services.He is also a member of the Hyperledger Project Technical Steering Committee.

Greg specializes in system architecture, operating systems, distributed/parallel/decentralized computing, cryptography, high performance and fault-tolerance. His has founded and/or contributed to many open source projects such as the Linux Kernel, KVM, AlacrityVM, Hyperledger Chaintool, and LSEG MemoryConnect in addition to leading countless proprietary projects, many of which are still in the field today.

Oliver is a senior software engineer and blockchain technologist at the John Hancock Lab of Forward Thinking. At LOFT, he architects distributed financial applications on private blockchains. He has worked with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Hyperledger Fabric and issues of blockchain security, scalability, confidentiality, and protocol design. Previously, he developed investment research algorithms and software.
