OK, our compliance meetups rarely look like the accompanying photo. Regardless, the corporate ethics & compliance community in and around Boston is welcome to join Radical Compliance for an informal networking hour on Feb. 19, at the Champions Bar & Grille in Kendall Square. (The bar attached to the Marriott Hotel, directly adjacent to the Kendall Square T stop on the Red Line.)
FAQs...
Q: Is this open bar?
A: Nope. We love the compliance community, but not that much. Everyone gets their own drinks. Radical Compliance may spring for some curly fries.
Q: Who should go?
A: Anyone involved in corporate compliance, ethics, audit, or risk management. Feel free to bring a coworker if that person is in the field, or to pass this invite along to others in field.
Q: So we just show up and shoot the breeze? Any specific agenda, guest speakers, etc.?
A: This is strictly for socializing and building your professional network. We have no agenda beyond that.
Q: What's the parking situation like?
A: It's Cambridge, so it's somewhat difficult. There are metered spaces nearby, or paid lots. The T is across the courtyard from the bar, so that's your best option if you can take public transit.
We do hope you can make it. Boston can be a tough town for compliance officers to make professional contacts, so feel free to attend and try to change that dynamic.
