New Book Launch and Signing

The Women Veterans Initiative (WVI) and author Sandra Butalla invite you to the formal Book Launch and Signing of the new book, We Are Not Invisible. Join us for appetizers and champagne and tour the I Am Not Invisible exhibit. New books available for purchase, with all book profits returning to WVI to support women veteran services.
See the amazing photography of Dallas Smith, the special memorial to Bridget Cronin, gifting of a personalized book by the author to each Women Veteran featured in the Book and a special guest appearance of Sarge Lintecum, the author of the poem, Invisible Soldiers. Sarge, a Vietnam Veteran, and a blues recording artist, will entertain us with music and the song Sister Soldier.
Another special guest will be Bob Holmstrom, a WWII veteran and the subject in one of Sandra Butalla’s other books, titled “Warbirds in the Cloak of Darkness.” It is the amazing true story of American airman Robert Holmstrom and the dangerous Top Secret missions he was involved in with the OSS during WWII, for which he has received the Congressional Gold Medal.
