The Bolton Foundation Throw Down

The Bolton Foundation Throw Down is an annual fundraising cornhole tournament that benefits California nonprofit organizations. The event is driven by volunteers from the Bolton Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bolton & Company. Each year, teams of Bolton employees, clients and friends sign up to sponsor and compete in the tournament.
Money raised during the event helps provide grants to select nonprofits. This includes the Bolton Foundation Beacon recipients, four annually selected nonprofit organizations that each receive a $10,000 grant in recognition and support of the outstanding philanthropic work they do within their community.
Grant recipients are selected based on their alignment with the Foundation’s grant priority areas of community development, education, youth services and multiculturalism.
