The Latin Soul after work party was created in 1994 by the Soulatino promotion team in an attempt to bring young professionals from the Latin Community in the New York metropolitan area together at a place to network and socialize. What transpired was a large following - finally there was a place where a new generation of Latino's in the workforce could socialize and relate to others that are exactly like themselves. Since its inception at Sequoia, Soulatino has grown to be an institution among the Latin population. SouLatino has allowed many others from other backgrounds to embrace our rich and diverse Latin Culture and break the stereotypes associated with it.
Latin Soul has moved several times to different locations after the closing of Sequoia in 2012. (Empre Hotel, Slate, and Attic)
Latin Soul has a new home at Blue Ribbon Midtown located on 220 west 44th street, in the heart of New York City Times Square
