New at Pitt this year, Blackboard Collaborate, allows students and faculty to meet virtually online, yet engage and interact as if they were in a traditional classroom. Collaborate offers advanced web conferencing features such as two-way audio, multi-point video, interactive whiteboard, application and desktop sharing, breakout rooms, and session recording, all accessible to you and your students through CourseWeb.
Drop in to learn more about Pitt's new virtual classroom solution. Blackboard employees will be onsite to answer questions, review use cases, and to help faculty feel more comfortable using the Collaboration tools. Please bring a laptop or mobile device for hands-on learning activities.
If you have any special accommodation needs, please contact us at workshops@teaching.pitt.edu in advance.
