THE BLACK WRITERS' POP UP SHOP IS CANCELLED!

I created the Black Writers’ Support Group to help black and minority writers write, develop and publish literature across all genres! Now we have an opportunity to showcase their amazing work! We’ve been blessed to attract many talented writers from different genres and they deserve to share their story!

The Black Writers’ Pop Up Shop will feature work from black and minority writers. Here is your opportunity to talk to published writers about their process, get a signed book and even hear a live reading!

During the Black Writers’ Support Group, I stress the importance of finishing your book. The first draft is never perfect, but finishing your book is critical if you ever want to get published. All these published writers have taken that step! Now it’s our time to support them!

There will be laughter.

There will be food.

There will be fun.

There will be books.

Come celebrate the voices of people of color!

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is free parking at the location on site. We have free parking downstairs and in the basement.

There is also free parking at Yoga Works studio across the street.

There is also street parking available as well. Please note that you can park on the street for up to 3 hours before you need to move your car. You can pay for your spot by the meter. I'm not entirely sure how much they enforce street parking regulations.

When you get to the building, please take elevators up to the 6th floor. You are looking for Suite 650.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can email me at nnenna@achievementconsulting.org or call me at 469-732-0359

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. We can look you up.
