Black Teacher Project - Oakland Inquiry Group
Greetings Black teachers and educators! We are excited to begin hosting the 3rd year of our Oakland Inquiry Group. Join this powerful group that meets once a month to explore issues in your teaching practice with support from a racial affinity based professional learning community. Led by experienced Black teacher-leaders, the Oakland Inquiry Group uses equity-based protocols and culturally relevant practices to create a space where Black teachers can come together, provide/receive support, and create sustainability with each other. This group has limited capacity so please be sure to RSVP. We will have 20 spots available for Black TK-12 classroom teachers and 5 spots available for Black educators who are not in TK-12 classrooms. Please be sure to choose the correct ticket type depending on whether you are a teacher or educator. We ask that you RSVP for every meeting date you will attend so that we can plan accordingly.
