Miss Black Ohio Pageant

We are excited to be sharing information about the Miss Black Ohio Pageant. As Black History month comes to a close, we celebrate 36 years in the central Ohio; thus, making us the longest running black pageant in Ohio. Miss Black Ohio is a not-for-profit pageant system, which started in Ohio in 1982, to recognize African American talent, beauty and to offer scholarships.
The current winners of 2018 are Kalia Brown Miss Black Ohio Teen, Senior from Westerville South and Helena Howe Miss Black Ohio, who attends Columbus State Community College. They will be competing in the national competition Miss Black American.
We are looking for several young ladies with an interest in dancing, singing or citing poetry ages 14-28.
The Pageant will be held on Saturday, September 21 in Columbus, OH. Come early and shop with the vendors and enjoy some live music by Jhana-Rae Cole & Band.
