Join AMA Birmingham June 20th at our Signature Series Lucheon when we present Rick Journey, recenly appointed by Mayor Randall Woodfin as Director of Communications, for Mayor's Office of Public Information. 

Journey oversee's our City’s communication plans - - from special events, building and maintaining relations with local and national media outlets, press conferences, speaking engagements, assisting citizens with inquiries about the city and working with City Hall.

This is an exciting time for the City of Birmingham and the Office of Public Information serves an important role in telling the story of our great and evolving city.

Journey is a Birmingham native who has spent most of his career in the city as a broadcast journalist, first joining WBRC FOX6 News in 1992.
